Hartford is best known as the gateway to Tennessee on Interstate 40 from Asheville, North Carolina. And if you're just passing through make the Tennessee Welcome Center at Hartford a must stop. Restrooms, picnic tables, brochures and local information. The Center is on Interstate 40 just west of the Hartford exit.
