The city of Newport has a wide range of recreational opportunities. We have everything from a large indoor Olympic size swimming pool to outdoor picnic facilities at the Newport City Park. The kids will love the groomed athletic fields, mom will appreciate the clean restrooms, and dad will enjoy "pumping iron" in the weight-room. Seniors are also welcomed to many programs designed especially for them. You can take a trip, go on a hike, come to fitness session, or just sit and enjoy a game of cards.
